Notas de Campo : Tree 25-30 m tall; bark with warty, horizontal lenticels; slash dark reddish brown, very granular; wood yellow-pink; leaves white below, the venation glabrous and therefore conspicuous below, inconspicuous above; flowers white. Wood very hard and fibrous.
