| Diagnóstico Se reconoce por su hábito frecuentemente arbustivo; hojas agrupadas regularmente al final de las ramitas, con la vena central rojiza; inflorescencias péndulas, con los raquis verde rojizos. | |||||

Flores pistiladas: perianto 5-lobulado; estaminodios presentes, anteras normales, pero disfuncionales; pistilo sésil, 1-locular; estilo 1, estigma fimbriado. |
